There was a time when you could work a single job, own a home, support a family, and save for the future. That was the American Dream — and for millions of Americans today, it feels increasingly out of reach.

Today, we work longer hours, push harder — and earn even less than we did before. Groceries, rent, healthcare, and insurance cost more than ever. Owning a home feels impossible. Starting a family feels like a financial risk. Retirement feels like a fantasy.

It's not because we failed. It's because the system failed us — a system hijacked by billionaires, corporations, and special interests who have spent decades rewriting the rules in their favor.

Both major parties are complicit. And nothing changes because they don't want it to. They've had every chance to get it right. We're done waiting. Now it's our turn.

Our Mission: Re-Democratize America and Build a Fair Economy

The PACT movement isn't left or right — it's bottom-up. Across the country, voters from both parties are deeply frustrated. For years, there's been no real alternative — just a choice between broken promises and political neglect.

We know anger alone isn't enough. For too long, Americans have only had the option to vote against something. This movement is different — it's something to fight for: fairness, accountability, and restoring balance to the economy.

The PACT movement includes workers, renters, parents, veterans, students, and small business owners. People from all walks of life, united by one thing: we're done with a system that no longer represents our interests. Our goal is simple: return power to the people and bring back the American Dream.

A New Strategy: Vote for Policy, Not Just Politicians

Instead of trusting politicians to deliver vague promises, we put power directly in your hands. We are advocating for launching the PACT Policy Ballot — an in-person vote, held like a regular election, where you vote on the issues instead of candidates.

If a majority say yes to the PACT Agenda — a common-sense plan to lower costs and reduce inflation, raise wages, and end corruption — we track every member of Congress on whether they vote with or against the public's will.

Any politician who votes against the people's agenda will be voted out and replaced — regardless of party. This is our PACT.

PACT stands for Promises, Action, Change, and Transparency — the four principles that drive this movement. The PACT Agenda is not a top-down platform — it's a framework built to evolve with the people who support it.

1. An Economy for Everyone

• ▸Create conditions for higher wages and strengthen worker protections

• ▸Raise taxes on billionaires and large corporations
• ▸End corporate subsidies and close tax loopholes
• ▸Ban stock buybacks; cap CEO pay on federal contracts
• ▸Break up monopolies to boost competition and lower prices
• ▸Exempt tips from federal income tax to support service workers

2. Cut Costs & Protect Consumers

• ▸Penalize price gouging in housing, healthcare, and groceries
• ▸Crack down on insurance companies denying care
• ▸Ban toxic food additives and pesticides banned in other countries
• ▸Invest in infrastructure
• ▸Allow Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices

3. Protect the Essentials

• ▸Strengthen Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid
• ▸Lower the cost of child care for working families
• ▸Invest in clean air, clean water, and public health
• ▸Absolute respect for our First Amendment right to freedom of speech
• ▸The US military is only to be used for national defense — never for political purposes

4. Rebuild Trust in Institutions

• ▸Enforce a binding ethics code for the Supreme Court
• ▸Require blind trusts for all federal officials
• ▸Strengthen privacy protections from government and corporations
• ▸Increase transparency to prevent undue influence from lobbyists

5. Stop Corporate Welfare

America doesn't have a spending problem — it has a priorities problem. Every year, we hand out billions to industries that are already wildly profitable, while defunding the institutions that actually serve the public good.

• ▸Hedge funds avoid billions in taxes via the carried interest loophole ($18 billion last year alone)
• ▸Big Oil gets over $3 billion annually in subsidies, despite record profits
• ▸Pharmaceutical companies charge Americans the highest drug prices worldwide

We will use a scalpel — not a chainsaw — to perform a full audit of government spending, cutting waste, fraud, and abuse surgically, based on data and accountability. We will reinvest in science and research, veterans' healthcare, public universities, and health institutions.

6. Homes for People, Not Profits

The housing market should work for families, not for investment portfolios. You should be able to afford a home — not compete with Wall Street investment firms for one.

Artificial intelligence has the potential to improve lives — but without smart, fair regulation, it threatens to deepen inequality, displace workers, and concentrate power in the hands of a few.

• ▸Require transparency in AI development, especially in healthcare, hiring, law enforcement, and finance
• ▸Create a public AI oversight body to assess risks and ensure ethical standards
• ▸Tax excessive profits from automation and reinvest in programs supporting displaced workers
• ▸Guarantee support for workers whose jobs are threatened by AI, including retraining and wage transition programs
• ▸Promote open-access AI research and prevent monopolistic control
